Confirmation

Typically, students prepare and are confirmed during the tenth grade of high school. Confirmation preparation begins in the summer and fall with an orientation meeting for parents and students. Sponsors get involved in one of the fall sessions and are welcome to attend any of the sessions. Candidates for Confirmation spend some time on retreat together. The Confirmation liturgy takes place by the decision of the bishop.  Date and place of the liturgy will be announced when it is known.  It is usually in the Easter Season.
