Eucharist

The Sacrament of Eucharist is typically celebrated for the first time when children are in second grade.  Preparation for First Eucharist begins after the First Reconciliation Service in January.  The children's First Communion is celebrated in early May. 

Children in 2nd grad or higher who wish to receive First Communion need to be enrolled into the Faith Formation program by contacting atherneau@cathedralwinona.org or jgreen466@live.com

Note that Cotter Schools provide faith formation but not sacramental preparation.  Cotter students seeking First Communion and First Reconciliation will need to enroll in a parish program.
